Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been pretty cagey over when they’re planning to tie the knot, but could a multi-million dollar pre-nup be what’s holding the couple up from walking down the aisle?
According to reports, the couple are hashing out an iron clad deal to make sure if this romance goes sour, their bank balances don’t suffer too.
The couple are worth a reported $150 million together, with the lion share going to child star Miley, who thanks to her fame in tween hit Hannah Montana, has amassed a fortune of $130 million, so are reportedly keen to make sure their fortune’s are intact in case of divorce.
“Miley is worth over $130 million and has no plans to lose her nest egg in case of divorce,” a source told Life & Style.
But it’s not just money, Miley’s beloved adopted dogs are also going into the deal, they added: “She has a half-dozen dogs that are her babies — she doesn’t want to lose them.”
Liam proposed to his then teenager girlfriend in May after dating for three years. The couple met on the set of ‘Last Song’ and though briefly split have been hot and heavy since then.
While the insiders claim a pre-nup is being hashed out, it seems money was the last thing on Miley’s mind during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres as the blonde revealed the moment she was most looking forward to on marrying Liam.
