Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have recently had the rumor mill churning with the big question: Is a wedding in their future? Cyrus fueled speculation when she posted to Twitter that ring photo of what could have been, but wasn’t, an engagement ring. However, her boyfriend’s brother, Chris Hemsworth, recently further quashed the possibility of any forthcoming “I do’s” for the couple. But was Cyrus mad at the backhanded insult from the guy who could be her future brother-in-law? It’s not clear if she was upset, embarrassed, or what she really thought of the situation and Chris’ not-so-supportive statement, but Hollywood Life for one thinks she should be plenty angry.
At the première for his flick, The Avengers, Chris Hemsworth shot back that “NO” Liam Hemsworth, 22, and Miley Cyrus, 19, were not getting engaged. “They’re like 21 or something. I can’t see that happening…” Sidenote: It’s kind of funny that he got both of their ages wrong. He must have lost track!
While his denial of an engagement can be interpreted many ways, Hollywood Life thinks he is totally out of line, reminding readers that Miley and Liam have been dating for three years. And the site makes a good point: Three years is undeniably a significant amount of time, especially for the Hollywood set where romances come and go faster than movie theater popcorn.
The site also affirms that, while they are young, they are not too young to tie the knot. Plenty of people have married at their age and have stayed married and in love. Yes, but the opposite of that is true, too, with lots of young marriages ending up in splitsville.
It seems more likely that Chris Hemsworth wasn’t intending to slam the love story of Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus or allude to the fact that they are not right for each other and will never marry. Perhaps he was just trying to play the wiser big bro and look out for his younger sibling. After all, divorce is no walk in the park, again, especially not in Tinseltown. And the sheer fact that Liam and Miley are so young (and so busy with their respective careers) really makes it unnecessary for them to rush into anything. The ring will always be within reach… Diamonds last forever, after all.

Miley Cyrus has been getting a lot of attention recently, and not for all good reasons, and now a friend has claimed that its because she’s “worried” about losing boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.
The former Disney star is rumoured to have lost 20lbs recently, and with her worrying tweets about not being able to eat fast food and just being able to “smell” it, it has led to concerns about her health.
According to HollywoodLife.com, the 19-year-old has watched 22-year-old boyfriend Liam’s career blow up after his appearance in The Hunger Games, and is now terrified at the thought of breaking up because of his new found fame.
“I think Miley feels insecure about her relationship with Liam right now,” the insider said. “Let’s face it, Liam has a lot on his plate right now. His career is blowing up and he has a promising future, thanks to The Hunger Games and some other impressive projects.”
Not only did Liam star opposite hot property Jennifer Lawrence in the blockbuster, but he’s about to start shooting new movie Empire State with Emma Roberts as well as two other film projects.
“Miley is feeling threatened,” our source said. “When she first met Liam, he was not well known at all. I think she is just crying out for attention and she’s worried she may lose him.”
Miley Cyrus loves showing off her body to admirers.
She told In Style:
‘I’ll wear a two-piece any time I can’.
On her look at The Hunger Games premiere:
‘It was the night I wanted to look the way that I would think he would like. He really liked it. The band on top was big and gave a good waist, but it showed curves still. It was perfect.’
If you haven’t read Ashley Judd’s lengthy, controversial, media-slamming article on The Daily Beast, then go do it now—trust, its well worth the read.
In the article, Judd criticizes the “nasty, gendered and misogynistic” media while calling for “strong female-to-female alliances” to help promote change.
So it should come as no surprise Miley Cyrus—who’s been busy fighting anorexia rumors as of late—shared her support for the Missing actress and tweeted her love for Ash’s motivational message.
But is this uphill battle even worth the fight?
Ms. Judd certainly believes so and as she eloquently pointed out—women, both in and outside of H’Wood, can’t catch a break.
Take Miles and Ash as examples. They share a 24-year age difference, but both ladies are subject to the exact same self-image ridicule on two totally different topics—Miley, for being too fat and then suddenly too thin, and Ashley, for her “plastic surgery” puffiness (actually due to steroid medication).
And it’s pretty alarming these two talented ladies have to deal with so much hate. Ashley sums it up best when she simply states in her essay we must “confront and change that there is no winning here as women.”
But, does Ashley have a point, or is she just pulling the “woe is me” Tinsel Town card?
After all, this is Hollywood—thin is in, plastic surgery is practically a must and the expectations are endless. That’s part of the Biz, right?
Not so, insist both Ash and Miles, and they encourage other women to fight back. A tough feat when you’ve got beauties like, say Megan Fox, constantly spilling “unattractive” words of wisdom.
Then there’s the high and mighty road like Jennifer Lawrence—babe was first praised for her ‘normal’ bod only later to be totally hated on for being ‘too fat’ for The Hunger Games. And although equally offensive, she has yet to write an essay or take to Twitter to rant in response.
Miley Cyrus is just a regular teenage girl who enjoys going out at night with her friends, says VH1′s Tough Love: New Orleans host Steve Ward! She is definitely NOT ready for the married life.
It doesn’t matter if the Hemsworth family doesn’t see Liam Hemsworth walking down the aisle with Miley Cyrus – because she isn’t quite ready for that type of commitment either.
“This girl is not trying to get married right now,” Steve Ward from VH1′s Tough Love: New Orleans tells HollywoodLife.com, who has seen her out at a club recently. ”She had her friends around her. She is not trying to get married at the moment.”
Talk of Miley, 19, and Liam, 22, getting engaged first began when Miley tweeted a pic of a ring on her engagement ring finger on March 23. And just recently at The Avengers premiere in L.A., Liam’s older brother Chris Hemsworth, 28, told E! that he ”can’t see that happening.”
Yikes! But now that’s irrelevant since Miley clearly isn’t looking to settle down either. And Steve says that’s the smartest choice right now.
“It’s a terrible mistake to consider marriage before the age of 25,” Steve says. “You haven’t grown up enough to that point.”
You go Miley! Enjoy your youth and hanging out with your friends — you’ll have the rest of your life to settle down!
It’s been a long time coming for Miley Cyrus’ remake of the 2008 French film “LOL.” Since the announcement back in 2010 that the film is being distributed by Lionsgate, news on the movie has been lacking. Well, not anymore, Cyrus fans.
On Tuesday, the official trailer for the film dropped, which gives fans a preview of what the movie has in store. In a generation that spends more time updating the world about their problems than their families, 17-year-old Lola’s (Cyrus) status is constantly changing. As an attempt to get back at her — now ex — boyfriend Chad for cheating on her with Ashley (Ashley Greene), Lola starts seeing his best friend, Kyle (Douglas Booth).
Her life begins to spiral downward as her grades drop while she experiments with drugs and sex, and a divorce has her mom completely oblivious to it all. Soon she starts to fall for Kyle and things get even more complicated. The trailer is a great peek at the teen drama, and we have the five key scenes from it.
The trailer begins with Lola’s voice over: “Every year it’s weird going back to school, but here we are just going with the flow, trying to love and laugh out loud.” She abruptly stops laughing when she calls out Chad on not texting her throughout the summer and he admits he hooked up with Lola’s rival Ashley. She acts like she doesn’t care, but as soon as she enters her room she begins crying on her bed. This emotional scene sets up the rest of the trailer.
A New Beginning
Lola quickly gets over her failed romance as she begins hanging out with Chad’s best friend Kyle. A montage begins of their new friendship as they share a lollipop, rock out on an air guitar and come this close to kissing by his car. Everything is even more wonderful when he tells her, “You’re amazing.” We imagine audiences will quickly become fans of Booth.
“I can’t believe I ever dated you!”
But the puppy love comes to a halt when Lola begins her sexual awakening. It seems rumors begin circulating when Chad says to Lola in the school courtyard, “Now that you’re giving it up I figured maybe I could get some.” The next scene shows Lola lashing out and pushing him into a gate screaming, “I can’t believe I ever dated you!” The trailer isn’t clear on what exactly causes the outburst, but we’re betting it’s pretty bad judging by Lola’s reaction.
Trouble In Paradise?
As it turns out, Chad’s comment is just the beginning of situations that spiral out of Lola’s control. The next few scenes show a fight with her mom about her grades dropping and a drunken make-out session with Kyle. Her life gets even worse as she witnesses Kyle walking with his arm around Ashley. When she confronts him about it, he denies it and she spits out, “You’re disgusting.” But we already knew Greene’s character would cause a stir when Demi Moore told MTV News “she’s really saucy.”
“Status can change, but true love remains the same.”
Throughout the next montage of scenes, we see “status can change, but true love remains the same” typed out across the screen as Kyle dedicates a song to Lola and she makes up with her mom. Finally, as a smiling Kyle rests his head on an equally happy Lola, the trailer leaves us with the feeling that despite the craziness of high school, everything will work out for Lola in the end. After all, she did say she just goes with the flow and high school is only the beginning.
Miley has been taking the Pilates studio by storm lately — and she has the rockin’ body to prove it! But a weight loss expert tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that if Miley loses any more weight, she’ll be way too thin!
Pilates does a body good — just ask Miley Cyrus! The 19-year-old actress has been flaunting her toned physique all week in revealing athletic gear. While there’s no denying that Miley’s body looks great these days, a weight loss expert cautions the superstar not to drop any more pounds.
“Miley should continue with her current fitness and healthy eating routine, but she definitely shouldn’t lose another pound or she could end up looking way too fragile and downright boney,” Alicia Hunter, weight loss coach and author of The Accidental Diet: From Fugly to Fox. “Miley looks very toned and sleek — just check out those trim abs! — but I’d caution her about consuming any less calories than she presently is. Her collar bone is starting to look way too defined and her arms are becoming very thin.”
Alicia estimates that the 5’5″ star has gone from 135 pounds to 115 pounds in the last year alone. “Miley looks like she’s lost a slew of inches around her waist and her face is much more defined,” explains Alicia. ”It doesn’t look like she could even pinch a half-inch of fat anywhere on her body.”
Besides taking daily Pilates classes and jogging with her pooch, Miley proclaimed on Twitter that a gluten and lactose-free eating plan is the secret behind her skinny new frame. “Everyone should try no gluten for a week! The change in your skin, physical and mental health is amazing. You won’t go back!” Miley tweeted on April 9.
However, experts claim that a gluten-free diet, which omits grains such as wheat, rye, barley and triticale, can be detrimental to a person’s health if they are not genuinely allergic to gluten.
