Miley Cyrus is trying to be “less ghetto” according to her friend, Cheyne Thomas. The two shared a couple of laughs on Twitter and admitted that they are trying to tone things down in the new year.
“Me and @MileyCyrus are working on makin’ 2012 a litttttle less ghetto..and it’s not happening hahah (sic),” Cheyne tweeted. “Stack stackin my paper! My wallet look like a bible! Wop!” Miley responded. Naturally this is part of a private joke between the two friends, but do you think the teen queen is “too ghetto?”
Cyrus and Thomas have a great relationship, and they are always joking around on the popular social network. Perhaps some of her tweets are a bit misunderstood—or just not understood—by her fans, but if she’s laughing, her fans are happy!
Miley Cyrus is definitely more country than ghetto, but if she wants to tone it down, more power to her. This probably means she won’t be rapping on her new album… which may or may not be coming later this year.
Miley Cyrus doesn’t appreciate when rumors are started about her. So, what’s a celebrity to do? Tweet about it, of course! The former Hannah Montana star logged on to her Twitter account this week to debunk rumors that she was having her tattoos removed.
Miley Cyrus has been spotted coming and going from a Dermatologist office in LA. Rumor has it that the singer/actress has been seeing a doctor who specializes in laser tattoo removal.
However, Cyrus claims that this simply is not true. “Just F.Y.I. to everyone. I dont go there for tattoo removal,” she tweeted. Of course, this isn’t true. Miley loves her tattoos and is very proud of what each of them represents.
In fact, the entire Cyrus family has body ink. (Her brother Trace if covered in tattoos from head to toe!) So, now fans are wondering if Miley Cyrus is having some sort of skin problems. If she is you wouldn’t know it. Miley has emerged looking better than ever. Maybe it’s from the secret skin treatment!
When Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus are separated because of work, they are dedicated to staying romantic — thanks to technology!
No wonder Liam Hemsworth won HollywoodLife.com’s 2011 Boyfriend of the Year contest! The 21-year-old Australian actor is so in love with Miley Cyrus, it makes our hearts melt. He recently revealed to Cosmopolitan magazine the secret trick that keeps his relationship alive when he’s separated from Miley.
“Skype! A little bit every day,” he said in the February issue. “For those long stretches apart, just to see her face makes it so much easier.”
With work schedules that take them all over the world, Miley, 19, and Liam have had to spend quite a bit of time apart from each other over the course of the last couple years. When Liam was shooting The Hunger Games, he was shooting in North Carolina for months on end. Thank goodness for Skype!
Khloe Kardashian has said that she wasn’t expecting to be featured on the new series of Punk’d.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was targeted by friends Miley Cyrus and Kelly Osbourne for an episode of the newly-revived prank show, which premieres Monday, March 19 on MTV.
A teaser trailer for Kardashian’s episode reveals that she had been enjoying a quiet night with Cyrus and Osbourne when a pizza delivery man has an unfortunate accident.
In a post to her official blog, the reality star said: “As I’m sure you all know by now, I got Punk’d! I was so excited for my girls’ night with Miley and Kelly, and let me just say, they got me really good.
“I thought the show was cancelled and I had no idea they were bringing it back so I was NOT expecting to be Punk’d. (sic)”
Kardashian’s sister Kim Kardashian had earlier told Twitter followers that the star had kept her appearance on the show a secret, writing: “I can’t believe @KhloeKardashian never told anyone in the fam she got Punk’d!!!! I can’t wait to see this episode! (sic)”
Punk’d’s new series will feature a different guest host each week, with Justin Bieber, Kellan Lutz, Bam Margera and Dax Shepard already confirmed as among the other pranksters.
Ashton Kutcher created the hidden camera show with Jason Goldberg and served as the original host from 2003 to 2007.
Miley Cyrus and Shakira reportedly are going to hook up in a studio for a brand new song. According to reports, the two female singers are lending their voice for good cause, which is to raise fund for children with heart problems.
The charity song is rumored to be titled “Love & Rock”, and is expected to be released on Valentine’s Day this year. Words are, the two female artists are going to perform it at a charity gala on February 14, and will follow it up by premiering a music video.
Miley and Shakira have participated in a number of charities in the past years, including recording songs for Haiti Relief initiatives. The former joined “Everybody Hurts” and “We Are the World 25 for Haiti”, while the latter took part in “Somos El Mundo 25 Por Haiti”.
Miley Cyrus, Sandra Bullock and Emma Watson are just a few of the A-list stars who were once bullied. But, look at them now! They are a testament to what can be done if you just believe in yourself and keep going!
If you thought celebrities were immune to bullying, just take a look at these stars. Miley Cyrus was bullied in school by teens who “were big, tough girls known as the Anti-Miley Club. They were fully capable of doing me bodily harm.” But, now she is an A-list superstar and those same girls probably wish they were a little nicer to her in school!
Sandra Bullock was bullied because she wasn’t as cool as the other kids and didn’t keep up with trends, due to traveling a lot.
“I’d come back to school from Europe and I looked like a clown compared to the cool way the other students looked and dressed,” Sandra said. “So I got my a** whooped a little bit.”
These are just a few stories of celebrities who were bullied. If you or someone you know is being bullied, just know that there are brighter times ahead. Don’t give up!
Dolly Parton has expressed her belief that Miley Cyrus is often unfairly criticised by the media.
Cyrus most recently made headlines by joking with friends at a birthday party that she smoked “way too much f**king weed”, a comment which her publicist later claimed was a joke.
Parton has now revealed that she identifies with Cyrus and hopes that the young star gets more privacy as she enters into womanhood.
“I remember myself at her age. We’ve all been a bit too hard on her,” the country music star told Parade.
She added: “I hope she holds it together because there’s a world of things she can do. She should keep an eye on things and make wise decisions.”
Cyrus recently denied that she is suffering from personal problems after posting some emotional lyrics from The Smiths’ song ‘How Soon Is Now?’ on her Twitter page.
Parton co-stars with Queen Latifah in the upcoming film Joyful Noise, which opens on January 13 in US cinemas.
When Demi Lovato entered treatment in late 2010 to treat “emotional and physical issues,” the teen singer knew she had the support of celeb BFFs Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez.
“No matter how many times we fight, we will always be in each others’ lives,” Lovato, 19, tells the February issue of Seventeen. “Miley and I are very strong-headed, so when we fight, it’s brutal and we’re like, ‘We’re never going to be friends again!’ Then two days later, we’re like, ‘I love you and I miss you!'”
Unlike her relationship with Cyrus, 19, Lovato says she “never” fights with Gomez, also 19. “She’s not a confrontational person at all. Both of them will never leave my life no matter what happens, because we’ve been through so much together.”
Cyrus and Gomez weren’t the only stars to reach out to Lovato while she was in rehab at Timberline Knolls. “We’re not super-close, but Taylor Swift tweeted ‘Pray for Demi,’ which I thought was really awesome of her. And Kim Kardashian, the busiest woman on the planet, took time to call me.”
The “Give Your Heart a Break” singer tells Seventeen that Kardashian, 31, “was there for me when not many people were. I could count on my hands how many people were there for me. So the people who were, I didn’t forget it.”
Now that she’s been out of rehab for a full year, Lovato says she feels “more confident, happy and healthy” than ever before.
“I have so much to look forward to — from little everyday things, like where I’m going to go shopping with my friends, to big things, like heading out on the road [on tour], or even really long-term things, like what my next big project will be.”
MTV’s Punk’d will hit the airwaves in March with singers Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus among the stars serving as celebrity guest hosts.
The hit show that features unsuspecting celebrities getting pranked, will return for a ninth season on March 19, after a four-year hiatus.
“In a new twist this season, Ashton Kutcher will hand over the reins to a new celebrity host each week, including Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, ['Twilight' star] Kellan Lutz, ['Jackass' prankster] Bam Margera and Punk’d alum Dax Shepard, among many others,” MTV said.
Ashton Kutcher, who developed the show and served as host during its first run from 2003 to 2007, will return as co-producer.
The cable network aired first look footage of the reboot during its New Year’s Eve special Saturday night.
“There’s a new generation of unsuspecting suckers just waiting to be Punk’d by their famous friends, and fans will once again have a front row seat to see the shock on the faces of their favorite celebs,” Van Toffler, MTV Networks Music/Film Group, said.
